Elnore Bernice Hartpence was born October 4, 1921 to Alpha Emanuel Olsen
and Lynn Hubbard. She passed away at Cuter Regional Hospital April 10,
2013. She is survived by her six children: William Hartpence, Charles
Hartpence, Joeseph Hartpence, Lynelle Brown, Eunice Hartpence, Sylvia Morrison,
32 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and counting. She was preceded in
death by her husband Don Warfield, her daughter Thalia, and two grandchildren.
Elnore was a servant of God and followed the teachings of the Baha'i
Faith. She was trained as an LPN and received her nursing degree from
the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She raised her six children
in Billings, MT where she worked at the Deaconess Hospital. She started
with home health program of Billings in its infancy and went on take
care of the elderly in their homes.
Elnore has been a rock, a pillar and a pillow to all of her family
members. She looked for the good in everyone, opened her home up to
strangers, fed those in need, and remembered all those that came into
her life. Many besides her own children called her mother, she was
adored by all.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Custer Cemetery.
