Obituary
Esther Ruth Porter, 87, died peacefully in her sleep of natural causes on December 7, 2012, at her home in Edgemont.
Esther was married for 66 years to Harry Edsel Porter of Edgemont; and is the mother of Terry Lee (Wally) Durham of Palos Verdes Estates, CA; Douglas Porter of San Antonio, TX; Michael (Tamara) Porter of Spearfish, SD; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Edgemont on Wednesday, December 12, at 10:00 A.M. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service, and a luncheon will be served at the Edgemont Senior Center immediately following the graveside rites at the Edgemont Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Esther's name to benefit the Edgemont Senior Citizens Center.
