Evelyn Estelle Ferraro, age 2, of Custer, SD, passed away on May 6, 2016, at the Custer Regional Hospital.

Evelyn was light and joy to everyone she met. Those who knew her knew her sparkling and sneaky curiosity, her feisty, fun-loving jokes and nature, and her contagious and radiant smile. She bounced, bubbled, and wibble wobbled everywhere she went. Because of her short life, her education was our love, our funny games, the books we read together, and the time she spent with devoted Sunday school teachers and her friend Jackie Robb.

Evie loved music, dancing, dirt, snuggles, and playing tent under the blankets. She adored her big brother and loved everyone unconditionally. Her life, though short, will live in our hearts until we meet her again when we cross to the other side. Through organ donation, her little life will live on even here on earth. Our golden little girl is now in the arms of our Father in Heaven surrounded by joy unthinkable where she can caress the Father's loving face and frolic in fields of dandelions with her brother, Brian David Ferraro. Babe, we will miss you so terribly much, our love, our precious baby girl. Live in Light until we see you again.

She is survived by her adoring Mamma and Daddy, Jenny & Chuck Ferraro; by her loving and kind big brother, Daniel James Arthur Ferraro; grandparents, Steve and Marilyn Simpson of Buffalo Gap, Ivan and Gwendolyn Ketterer of Hot Springs, Calvin and Connie LaRive of Hot Springs, and Joseph and Valerie Ferraro of Maine, all who were completely smitten by her. She also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins and friends who loved her.

A memorial will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Little White Church in Hill City with Pastors Ron Walker, Ben Larson and Joel Ziolowski officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her brother at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Simpson Ranch near Buffalo Gap.
