Obituary
Florence Olive Linea Harrington, 98, of Buffalo Gap, SD passed away July 17, 2007 at the Custer Regional Senior Care Center in Custer, SD.
Florence was born October 15, 1908 in Morris, IL to Carl H. and Olive L. (Olson) Benson. At the age of two, her family moved to Meade County where she was raised in a sod house. Florence was baptized into the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1939 and was very active in their ministry work.
Florence is survived by one daughter, Delores (Gilford) Deines of Buffalo Gap; three sons, Marvin K. (Rose) Harrington of Ronan, MT; Laverne E. Harrington of Buffalo Gap; Donald L. (Pauline) Harrington of Hill City, SD; one sister, Esther Borla of Boise, MT; seventeen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Hot Springs with Irvin Putzier officiating.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleychapels.com.
