Obituary
Fred E. Gossel, age 88, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away August 14, 2011, at the Castle Manor Nursing Home in Hot Springs, SD.
Fred was born December 10, 1922, in Bridgewater, SD to Fred and Clara (Alton) Gossel. He married Herberta J. Judd July 27, 1968 in Hot Springs. Fred was a truck driver for Standard Oil and Nelson's Oil & Gas. He was a member of the Hot Springs Volunteer Fire Department and the Bethesda Lutheran Church for many years. He loved to fish with his father-in-law.
Survivors include his loving wife Herberta; son, Jeff Gossel of Rapid City, SD; daughter, Michelle (Terry) Wood of Grangeville, ID; stepson, Bob Eisenbarth of Hot Springs; stepdaughter, Vickie Cass of Laramie, WY; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011, at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Gary Jacobson officiating.
