Freda Theresa Goodsell, 89, of Custer, SD, passed away on October 22, 2018, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Freda was born June 24, 1929, to George and Christina (Standing Bear) Mesteth in Manderson, SD.

Freda is survived by her husband, La Vern of Custer; son, Heath (Dawn) Goodsell of Custer; daughters, Reneeann Kewley of Custer; Jaclyn (Mick) Buffington of Custer; Donna Treloar of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Opal Callendar of Gillette, WY; Shirley Scherer of Custer; brother, Jay Mesteth of Manderson;  nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A Wake will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the Goodsell home in Custer, SD.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at the Crazy Horse Monument, north of Custer, SD.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
