Gary Dean Livesay, 62, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on December 3, 2017 at Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City, SD
.
Gary was born in Los Angeles, CA, to Charlotte and Orval (Maynard) Bland on July 20, 1955. He grew up in EI Paso, TX, and Louisiana. Gary married Shannon Livesay on January 1, 1989, in Ventura, CA. Throughout his life, he worked as a horse trainer, in construction, on the oil fields of California and Egypt, and at the Mammoth Site of Hot Springs. He was known for his
sense of humor and giving heart.

Gary was loved by all. He is forever Shannon's sweetheart, his children's loving father, and a beloved brother. He will be greatly missed. May God be with you Gary, until we meet again.

Gary is survived by his wife, Shannon; children, Michael and Amy, Christa and Terry, Christian, and Lindsay; brothers, sisters, Donna and Jimmy, Carol and Richard, James and Beth, Gail and Keith, Bobby, Suzi, Scott and Jen, Lisa, Karen and Rick, Orval, and Raymond and T.J.

Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Maynard Livesay; father, Orval Bland; step-
father, Charles Livesay; and grandparents, Amos and Flossie Bland, and Ann and Eugene Maynard.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church with Father Claude Vershure officiating, followed by a luncheon at St. Luke's Parish Hall.

Memorials in Gary's name may be given to The Mammoth Site of Hot Springs.
