G ayLynne Marie Entwisle, 56, passed away November 3, 2019, at her residence in Hot Springs, SD.
GayLynne was born August 5, 1963, to Leonard and Patty (Whalen) Vellek in Flandreau, SD. Her younger years were spent in Flandreau, Scotland and Huron, SD. She was united in marriage to John Entwisle in December of 1988 and they were blessed with two sons, Eamin and Colin.
GayLynne had a passion for music, most specifically the flute. She was a gifted player and she shared her talent with many. She was active in the Fall River Flutes and the City Band. She was an active member of Southern Hills Alcoholics Anonymous. GayLynne was a wonderful caregiver for her father, Leonard.
GayLynne is survived by her husband, John of Hot Springs; sons, Eamin of Pierre, SD; Colin of Minneapolis, MN; father, Leonard Vellek of Hot Springs; Brother, Shawn (Cindy) Vellek of St Paul, MN; sister, Kathy (Richard) Ayala of Virginia; nephews, Rick Ayala of Newport Beach, VA; Patrick Ayala of Bremington, VA; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs.
Christian Funeral Vigil will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 8 ,2019, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs.
Christian Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs with Christian Funeral Committal following at Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
