Gene Richard Sensanbaugher, 65, of Hot Springs, SD and formally of Turlock, CA passed away at Monument Health in Rapid City, SD on November 8, 2020.

Gene was born in Columbus, OH to Herman and Edith Sensanbaugher (Née Gregory) in 1955.

Gene was a proud Marine and took great pride in serving his country. Gene was a former police officer and proudly supported all law enforcement. Gene also loved Hamm radios and belonged to Hamm radio clubs throughout his life.

Gene leaves behind three children, Robert (Brenda) Sensanbaugher of Edgemont, SD; Tracie (Raymond) Butcher of Delhi, CA; Scott (Liz) Sensanbaugher of New Braunfels, TX; sister, Linda of Turlock, CA; grandchildren, Alexander, Scott, Lily, Mathew, Ty, Johnathon, Ashley, Jacob, and Sierra; great-grandchildren Magnolia and Harper.

Gene is proceeded in death by his parents and numerous other family members.

Private Family services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD with full military honors.

The family would like to thank the numerous staff that cared for Gene at Monument Health.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
