Obituary
Gerald Edward Berg, age 69, formerly of Brookings, SD, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans' Home in Hot Springs, SD.
Gerald, a United States Air Force Veteran, was later employed as a service attendant at Carson's Standard Station in Brookings for several years.
Gerald is survived by one sister, Dianne Berquist of Havre, MT, one brother Doug (Valerie) Berg, of Odessa, MN, four nieces and one nephew, eight great-nieces and four great-nephews.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents Gus and Maxine Berg, brother-in-law Alan Berquist, and several aunts and uncles.
Committal Services were held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at the Black Hills National Cemetery with Chaplain Loyd Nielson officiating.
