Gerald 'Jerry' Ullrich, age 77, of Custer, SD, passed away on November 16, 2018, at the Custer Regional Care Center in Custer.

Jerry was born on July 31, 1941, to Arnold and Katherine (Markheim) Ullrich in Scottsbluff, NE. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 until his honorable discharge in 1968. Jerry received the purple heart award while being injured in the Vietnam War.

Jerry is survived by his brother, Ron Ullrich; sisters, Carolyn Lake; Kathy Ransom; Mary Lou Stewart; nieces, Marcie Ransom; Michelle Stewart; Kerri Espenoza; Cindy Romero; Connie Karr; Lisa Ullrich; Riley Ullrich; Rachel Ullrich; nephews, Brent Stewart; Brian Ullrich; and Mark Howard.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., December 12, 2018, at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff, NE with military honors provided by the United States Army.
