Gilbert William 'Bud' Marks, 95, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away June 15, 2018, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice South Dakota Veterans Home, in Hot Springs.

Bud was born December 16, 1922, in Leroy, CO, to Gustave and Elizabeth (Krukow) Marks.

Bud is survived by his son, William Marks of Oral, SD; daughter, Linda Leochner of Denver, CO; sister, Berniece Schram of Denver; along with 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his wife, Eunice; daughter, Susan Magby; brother, Raymond Marks; sisters, Mildred Keck; Maxine Jackson; and Lois Fitzsimons.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs.   Committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery immediately following the service.

Memorials have been established in Bud's name to benefit the Bethesda Lutheran Church, 1537 Baltimore Avenue, Hot Springs, SD; and the Bison Booster Club, 12762 Clubview Drive, Hot Springs, SD.
