Obituary
Grace Elaine Lancaster, age 84, passed away at her home in Spearfish, SD, on March 25, 2017.
Grace was born on December 26, 1932, in Oelrichs, SD, to James and Lena (Rohrbauck) Lancaster. She was admitted to the school for the handicapped in Redfield, SD, in 1948, where she resided until the school closed. Grace then moved to the Northern Hills Training center in Spearfish, SD.
She is survived by her sister, Gladys (Lancaster) Halls of Hot Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lena Lancaster; three brothers, Harvey, James and Elmer Lancaster; sisters, Margaret (Irvin) Davis; Ada (George) Anstett; Marie (Lorenz) Burg; Florence (Arthur) Trudeau.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Custer Lutheran Fellowship with interment to follow at the Custer Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Grace's name to benefit the Northern Hills Training Center.
