Obituary
Harold Clarence Vista, age 81, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on July 15, 2015, at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs.
Harold was born on August 9, 1933, in Marinette, WI, to Clarence and Edna (Mueller) Vista. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1950, to his honorable discharge in 1951.
He is survived by his special friend, Patty Elliot Stanley of Hot Springs; sons, David Vista; Ron Vista; daughter, Kathy; and brother, James Vista of South Carolina.
Harold remained in Hot Springs after a visit to the Hot springs VA Medical Center; he felt that he had found a place to call home. He loved the people here and the peace that he found here. As well as the great care he received from people at the VA.
Services will be held at; Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
Visitations; 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015.
Funeral services; 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2015.
Interment and Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Sturgis Honor Guards, 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Harold's name to benefit the Hot Springs Alano Society.
