Harry James 'Jim' Rodoni, age 68, of Custer, SD, passed away on August 12, 2014, at the Rapid City Regional Hospice Center in Rapid City, SD.

Jim was born in Berkeley, CA, on April 18, 1946, to Walter and Dolores Rodoni. He was raised in Garberville, CA, and attended college in Northern California. He worked for the State of California in Sacramento where he met the love of his life, Michele. They were married on October 25, 1980. They remained in California until their retirement from the State and in 1996 moved to Custer, SD.

Jim brought much light, love, joy, and generosity to those who were blessed enough to know him. He was a great teacher about the important things in life.

Jim is survived by his wife, Michele; nieces, Jen Rodoni and Suzi Rodoni. Jim will be missed by many close friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Walter; mother, Dolores, and brother, Dave Rodoni.

A private family memorial will be held.
