Obituary
Helen Ruth Parlin, age 79, of Custer, SD, passed away June 14, 2011, at the Custer Regional Hospital in Custer.
She was born November 30, 1931, in Custer, SD, to Keith and Charlotte (Harthun) McKenzie.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Julie Smith of Custer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel and her son, Tom.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Custer Cemetery with Reverend Sharee Johnson officiating.
A memorial has been established in Helen's name to benefit the Custer County Library Foundation.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer. Written condolences can be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
