Hope Marshall passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer, SD.

Formerly of Fort Collins, CO she lived the last several years in Custer, SD with her daughter and son- in-law.

She was married to Merle Marshall for 48 years until his death in 1989. Hope was a fun loving person who loved everyone regardless of who they were, what they believed, or how they acted. That they were a part of her life was enough for her. Because she showed so much love and kindness to those around it was automatically returned to her. All who were touched by her love of life will miss her fun loving ways.

Hope is survived by her children, Jay & Meg Marshall of Covington, WA; Jim & Jana Masters of Custer; grandchildren & great-grandchildren, Andrew & Ning Marshall; James, Lisa, Hope & Sequoia Masters; Joe, Maria, Ryden & Hendix Masters; sister, Jeanie Martins; brothers, Paul & Bob Whitley; a slew of nieces and nephews; and friends all who meant the world to her.

Hope was preceded in death by her husband Merle, and a granddaughter, Alysa Kelley.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Warren Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Ft. Collins, CO.
