Obituary
Hope Augusta Sager, age 92, of Custer, SD, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer.
Hope was born February 21, 1919, in Custer, SD, to Peter and Regina (Lafferty) Sager. She was a pilot and flew her own plane, she was also an artist and a tomboy. Hope was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer.
Survivors include her cousins, Ray Flynn of San Diego, CA; William Moss of Salt Lake City, UT; Hazel Blaine of Custer and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ivel.
Wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer with Father Peter Kovarik officiating. Interment will follow at the Custer Cemetery.
