Ivan Guy Pixler Jr., 79, of Custer, SD died at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Ivan was born in Iowa to Ivan Pixler Sr. and Doris May Gardner on March 4, 1946. He proudly served in the United States Marines from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1970.

Ivan is survived by his wife, Patty Pixler of Custer; son, Ivan Guy Pixler III of Milford, IA; daughter, Theresa (Gregory) Zapiecki of Singapore; and sister, Janice (Tom) Lindsey of Denver, CO.
