Jacqueline Loutsch, 69, of Custer, SD, passed away February 12, 2023, at her home in Custer.

Jackie was born August 31, 1953, in Stillwater, MN, to Verden and Hilma (Johnson) McKusick.  Jackie was proud to have graduated from Simpson College with honors.   She enjoyed many things, bird watching; gardening; tending to house plants; collecting and refinishing antiques; fishing and thrift store shopping.   Getting her first elk was a great moment in her life!

Jackie is survived by her soulmate, Michael Golightly; daughters, Bobette (Brian) Burkum; Katherine Loutsch; son, Christopher LaBarre; brother, Jeffrey (Mary) McKusick; sisters, Sheri Martyl; Janice (Gary) Gruber, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2023, at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer, SD with Christian Funeral Vigil following at 7:00 p.m.

Christian Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer, SD with Christian Funeral Committal following at the Custer Cemetery in Custer, SD.
