James Arthur 'Jim' Reichert, 71, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away February 2, 2018, at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs.
Jim was born January 25, 1947, in New Orleans, LA, to Arthur H. and Helen A. (DeVanney) Reichert. He proudly served in the US Navy from February 18, 1964, until his honorable discharge on December 11, 1967.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sherry of Hot Springs; two sons, Mark (Bonnie) Reichert of Mayer, AZ; Brian (Christi) Reichert of Villa Rica, GA; sister, Jan (Al) Miller of Bradenton, FL; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs with Chaplain Morris Nelson officiating. Committal services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jim's name.
