James M. Linehan, 76, of Oelrichs, SD, died May 2, 2014 in Custer County, SD.

James served in the Army from February 3, 1964 to February 2, 1968.

James is survived by his wife, Lois Linehan of Oelrichs, SD; two brothers, Gene (Lee) Linehan of Oelrichs, SD and Neil (Nadine) Linehan of Oglala, SD; three step daughters, Kim (Greg) Ford of Waco, TX; Amy Shedeed of Oelrichs, SD; Jennie Shedeed of Oelrichs, SD; two step sons; Rick Eichenberger of Gillette, WY; Mike Eichenberger of Gillette, WY; twelve grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD, with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating.  Committal services will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Oelrichs, SD.

A memorial has been established in Jim's name to benefit the Oelrichs Volunteer  Ambulance Service.
