Janice Joy Rongstad, age 62, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at her residence in Hot Springs, SD.

Janice was born October 15, 1944 in Presho, SD to Adolph and Mayme (Larson) Atkinson.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Langley of Isanti, MN, Leon Rongstad of Rapid City, SD; four daughters, Sherry Leblanc of Hot Springs, SD, Delvine Langley of Hot Springs, SD, Dody Leonard of Phoenix, AZ, Elizabeth Nehren of Phoenix, AZ; one step-son, Jim Nehren of Anchor Point, AK; one step-daughter, Becky Nehren of Anchorage, AK; one brother, Duane Atkinson of Hot Springs, SD; five sisters, Loretta Kearns of Spokane, WA, Janet Bernard of Hot Springs, SD, June McComb of Tulsa, OK, Jane Barlow of New Iberie, LA, Debra Andersen of Rapid City, SD; six grandchildren; one great grandchild and two great grandchildren on the way.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; four brothers and five sisters.

Visitation services will be held at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs from
5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2007, prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm with Reverend Peter Dahlberg officiating.
