Jayme Shawn Manke, age 20, of Edgemont, SD, passed away June 6, 2012, at the Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs, SD, as a result of an automobile accident.

Jayme was a 2010 honor graduate of Edgemont High School and she obtained her associates degree from Western Dakota Tech in the spring of 2011. She then went on to work for Fall River Health Services as a Pharmacy Technician. She enjoyed her job and loved the people she worked with.

Jayme loved playing volleyball, going for walks, reading, and just hanging out with her friends and family. She was the person that kept the rest of the family in line, she was the family's keeper. She had a stern presence but a soft heart. Jayme was an amazing daughter, sister and friend. She would do anything, for anyone at anytime. She was a beautiful person inside and out, she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her mother, Stephanie (William) Clark of Edgemont; father, Jay Manke of Edgemont; brothers, David (Stephanie) Kinsella of Rapid City, SD; Tyler Manke of Rapid City; Jordan Clark of Edgemont; sisters, Katie (Jeremy) Langdeau of Rapid City; Jessica Schumacher of Edgemont; Sabrina Clark of Williston, ND; Jackie Manke of Edgemont; grandparents, Franklin and Audrey Manke of Edgemont; Richard Van Win of Meridian, ID, and Bob and Carol Worden of Edgemont.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the United Church in Edgemont.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Edgemont High School Auditorium with Pastor Peary Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at the Edgemont Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Jayme's name to benefit the Edgemont Booster Club.
