Jerad William Hiermeier, age 21, of Wright, WY, passed away in Gillette, WY on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 due to health complications.
Jerad was born August 25, 1987 in Custer, SD, the son of Rodney 'Butch' Hiermeier and Shelley Hiermeier Dammann. He enjoyed working on his "special projects", his vehicles. He took pride in all his accomplishments. Jerad was employed at Kuhbacker's Industrial Services as an Environmental Technician. He blessed his sister, Jennifer and his brother-in-law, Dusty, the kids, Cody, Adam, Sarah and Luke by spending the majority of his years in their home.
Jerad enjoyed his pick-ups, 4-wheeler, car, hiking, horn hunting, hangin' with his buddies, his music, and was never seen without his cell phone and bottled water. Jerad known as "Rat or Rat Cheese " by his Dad, made instant friends after only meeting someone one time. However, he loved to spend the majority of his time alone with his special friend 'Sabby', Sabrina Monson.
Survivors include his mother, Shelley and step-father Jerry Dammann of Rapid City, SD; his father, Rodney 'Butch' Hiermeier of Custer, SD; sister, Jennifer 'Sis' and brother-in-law Dusty Hadlock and kids, Cody; Adam; Sarah; and Luke of Wright, WY; brother, Jason and sister-in-law Tiffany, the girls, Alexis; Angie; Allyson and Amarri Hiermeier and his brother, Brian Harbison all of Custer; and Brian's daughter, Katy of Rapid City; grandpa, Les Doughty of Custer; grandma, Ruth Norton of Holden, MO; grandparents, Ruby and Wayne Crofutt of Littlerock, CA; Linda and Melvin Hiermeier of Custer and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Hiermeier and his grandma, Ardy Doughty.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer with Father Peter Kovarik officiating. Interment will follow at the Pringle Cemetery near Pringle, SD.
