Jerilyn Barrington, 79, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away January 13, 2022, at her residence in Hot Springs.

Jerilyn was born April 15, 1942, in VanHorn, TX, to Maurice and Maurine (Sumner) Sawyer.  She grew up in Alpine, TX and obtained her nursing license in 1973.

Her marriage to Bern Osbourn blessed her with four sons.   After divorcing Bern she married Thomas Barrington.

Her nursing career served her well with working in the Emergency Room in Llano, TX; the Labor and Delivery Rooms in Andrew, TX and Odessa, TX and in the Twilight Nursing Home in Bangs, TX.   Her greatest love and joy was taking care of all the babies she helped deliver.

Jerilyn was a lover of animals especially her dog, Suzie.

Jerilyn is survived by her four sons, Jeff Osbourn of Sasabe, AZ; Corey (Kathleen) Osbourn of Gardendale, TX; Cullen Osbourn of Nocona, TX; Jason (Jamie) Osbourn of Hot Springs, SD; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Jerilyn's life will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hot Springs, SD.
