Obituary
Jerry Lee Jirsa, age 61, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away at his home on December 28, 2015.
Jerry was born on September 15, 1954, in Mason City, IA, to Lester and Geneale (Shaffner) Jirsa. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1972-1976. Jerry worked for the BNSF Railway Company as a Railroad Engineer.
Jerry is survived by his son, Max (Cassia) Jirsa of Hot Springs; step-daugher, Cari (Dave) Reid of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren, Brodi Jirsa; Eli Jirsa; Ashley Goddard; Shelby Reid; Bailey Reid; and Arinna Reid.
A celebration of life will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 1, 2016, at The Vault in Hot Springs.
