Joan J. Meyer, 90, of Custer, SD, passed away April 20, 2021, at Monument Health Custer Hospital in Custer, SD.

Joan was born September 19, 1930 to Rex and Cecile (Ickler) Marker.

Joan was a faithful and beloved wife to Leo for 42 years.   She was a mother of 6 children, not the least of which included her special son, Darren, whom for 41 years she provided care for.

Joan is survived by her son, Don Meyer of Sun City, AZ; son, David Meyer of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Carol (Steve Sallee) Meyer of Custer; son, Dale (Kandi) Meyer of Newcastle WY; sister, Diane (Dean) Zens of Miller, SD; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Predeceasing Joan was her husband, Leo and her sons, Darren and Dennis.

Per Joan's wishes no services will be held.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home of Custer, SD.
