Obituary
Joe Allen, age 81, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away April 23, 2012, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Joe retired from the US Air Force after 20 years' service.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Allen; son, Michael Allen; daughter, Julie (Bruce) Barros; brothers, Charles (Betty) Allen; Donald (Betty) Allen; Jack (Marilyn) Allen; Phillip Allen; Kenneth (Carol) Allen; sisters, Greta Ingersoll; Dorothy Bouton; Arlene (Jack) Marlatt; Arloween Dennis; Elma Jean Starkey; Vickie (James) Kirsher; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Pastor Bill Martin officiating, A second Celebration of Life will be held at Smith,
H P, and Son Funeral Home in Woodhull, NY at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, with Pastor Alan mark officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at the Hedgesville Cemetery in Hedgesville, NY.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD and Smith, H P, and Son in Woodhull, NY. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
