John Lewis Bennett, age 67, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away September, 19, 2015, near Hot Springs.
John was born April 26, 1948, to Emma (Lewis) Bennett in Denver, CO. He served in the United States Army from December, 1968, until his honorable discharge on December 10, 1970.
Survivors include daughters, Tekla Bennett of Fordyce, NE; Jennifer Bennett of Lemmon, SD, and one grandchild.
Committal services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD, with Rev. Lloyd Nielson officiating.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain-McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs. Written condolences may be made at www.chamberlainmccolleys.com.
