John Alva Carrico Jr., 87, of Custer, SD, passed away March 11, 2021, at Monument Health Custer Senior Care in Custer, SD.

John was born June 23, 1933, in Lamar, CO, to John and Bess Carrico.   He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force until his honorable discharge in 1967.

John is survived by his son, Brian (Lois) Carrico of Custer;4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
