John Andrew Christie, age 60, passed away on April 16, 2019, at his home in Custer, SD.

John was born on May 25, 1958, in Culver City, CA, to Robert George and Barbara Ann (Smith) Christie. He proudly served in the United States Army 26 years, until his retirement.

John is survived by his wife, Sue Christie of Custer; daughter, Crystal (Ken Zaas II) Los Bacos, CA; sisters, Heather Christie of CA; Fawn Christie of Nevada; four grandchildren, Ken Zaas III, Haydan Zaas, Ashlynn Zaas and Mason Zaas.

Services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer.
