John was born September 24, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, to John Klass, Sr. and Minnie (Miller) Klass. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1962 until his honorable discharge in 1963.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph Klass of Baltimore, MD.
