Obituary
John LeRoy 'Mike' Michaels, age 90, formerly of Edgemont, SD, passed away December 18, 2012, at the State Veterans Home in Hot Springs, SD.
Mike served in the US Army from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Michaels of Hot Springs; sons, Sidney (Susan) Michaels of Rapid City, SD; Rodney Michaels (Lori Brooks) of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Sharon 'Kay' (Donald) McCauley of Napa, ID; eleven grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2012, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Chaplain Loyd Nielson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 24, 2012, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
