Joni Kay Hazen, age 57, of Custer, SD, passed away on February 6, 2017, at the Custer Regional Hospital in Custer, SD.
Joni was born on May 2, 1959, in Lincoln, NE, to Ralph and Edna Alice (Reece) Hazen. She was a Med-Aid at Pine Hills Retirement Center in Hot Springs.
Joni is survived by her sons, Jackson (Ula) Shymanski of Hancock, MN; Monty (Kelly) Shymanski of Custer, SD; brother, Jim Hazen of Sierra Vista, AZ; three grandchildren, Hezekiah Rodriguez; Zamirah Shymanski and Iris Shymanski.
Private family services will be held.
