Joseph Lawrence Matsamas, 59, of Oelrichs, SD, passed away, at his home, October 11, 2022.

Joey was born October 6, 1963, in Utah, to John and Frances Matsamas.   The family moved to Oelrichs in 1968.  Joe resided in Oelrichs working at Prairie Winds Casino for the last of many years.  He retired in 2021.

Joe is survived by his two sons, Lucas (Shannon) of Buffalo Gap, SD; Zach (Ashely) of Spearfish, SD; one daughter, Amber (James) of Rapid City, SD; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, Rick (Rhonda) Matsamas of Oelrichs; Dusty (Tracy) Matsamas of Oelrichs; two sisters, Kelly Luning of Oelrichs; Sherry (Gary) Miles of Hot Springs, SD and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Joe's wishes, no services will be held.
