Juanita Sherman passed away at her home in Custer, SD surrounded by family and friends on February 23, 2007.
She was born August 20, 1916 in Fountain City, WI, the daughter of Earl G. and Josephine I. (Beffa) Gehrlich. Juanita was a retired school teacher and librarian. She was a life long member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Fountain City, WI, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Buffalo County Teachers Association.
She is survived by two children; Carol (Michael) Gegen of Prescott, WI; Janeen (David) Melmer of Custer, SD; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Willard Sherman and her brother, Lynn Gehrlich.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Fountain City, WI, with a private burial service to follow.
Memorials in Juanita's name to Hospice of the Southern Hills or Crazy Horse Memorial Scholarship Fund are preferred.
