Kari Jean Baker, 60, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away August 2, 2020, in Hot Springs, SD.

Kari was born November 10, 1959 in Minnesota.

Kari will be remembered for her beautiful quilting abilities, passion for cooking and her love for Minnesota sports.  She was a Registered Nurse and mother to four boys.  She lived in Hot Spring with her husband William Baker.  Kari was generous and fiercely caring for others.

Surviving Kari is her husband,  Bill of Hot Springs; son, Dan (Carrisa) Baker of Marshall, MN and their children, Teddy and Olivia; son, Alex and (Holly) Baker of Big Lake, MN and their children, Louis and Leo; son, Charlie (Whitney) Baker of Rogers, MN and their children Eliza, Addie and Linus; son, Joe Baker of Rochester, MN; mother, Jeannie Lunde of Minot, ND; brother, Bradley (Rachel) Carlson of Plano, TX; brother, Marlynn (Debbie) Lunde of Minneapolis, MN; and sister, Lynette (Jeff) Andersen of Minot, ND; and a host of friends.

Predeceasing Kari was her father, Harlan Lunde.

Private family services will be held.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
