Kelly Dean Salles, age 48, passed away February 20, 2013, at his home in San Jose, CA.
Kelly was born January 27, 1965, at Hot Springs, SD, the youngest son of Carl and Violet Salles. He graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1983. On July 4, 1986, Kelly was united in marriage to Shari McClain. Kelly and his family lived on the West Coast and he was employed as a glazier and certified welder with Union 1621 for the past 27 years.
Kelly is survived by his children, Cory Michael of Jan Jose, CA; Michele Rae of Sacramento, CA; his parents, Carl and Violet Salles of Hot Springs; brothers, Steven (Kathy) and daughter Emily of Portland, OR; Gregory of Hot Springs; Uncle Edward (Lupe) Keller and family of San Jose, CA; Aunt Ellen Borcharski (son, Daryl) of Sioux Falls, SD; Uncle Wayne (Elizabeth) Peterson and family; Aunt Lois (Don) Huxford: Aunt Mavis Crinklaw, Aunt Anna Joyce Brunner; nieces; nephews and special friends, Doug and Mary Lyons of Gilroy, CA.
Kelly enjoyed life to the fullest; with fishing and hunting when growing up in South Dakota and California. Anyone who ever met Kelly was always a friend, enjoying great conversation or to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at Bethesda Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary Jacobsen officiating.
Kelly is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex Salles, Minnie and Homer Cook, Jim Keller; Lyle and Myrtle Peterson.
A memorial has been established in Kelly's name to benefit the Bethesda Scholarship Program of the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs.
