Kenneth A. Friedman, 85, of Custer, SD, passed away on November 28, 2018, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Kenneth was born December 25, 1932, in San Francisco, CA, to Philip and Joan (Harris) Friedman.  Kenneth met his future wife, Mary Beth in Oakland, and married her in 2001.

Kenneth proudly served in the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations which he compared to a combination of the FBI and CIA.  He was honorably discharged in 1958.

Kenneth enjoyed flying and achieved aviation licensures to include his pilots license, multi-engine license and instrumental licenses.  He owned many planes including a high performance aircraft.  His other passions were the game of golf and his gift of cooking.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Mary of Custer; children, Kirk (Marilyn) Friedman of Woodland, CA; Bryan Friedman (Lena) of Avila Beach, CA; Jennifer Nee of Burlingame, CA; and Marty Friedman.

Per Kenneth's request no services will be held.
