Obituary
Kenneth Harvey 'Ken' Granger, age 63, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at his home in Custer, SD.
Kenneth was born September 5, 1947 in Mitchell, SD, to Marion F. and Lorraine (Swank) Granger. He was a 1965 graduate of Custer High School. He was employed with the Custer County Highway Department until his cancer made him unable to continue working.
Survivors include his daughter, Tracey (Rusty) Befus; three grandchildren, Anna, Alec and Noah; two great grandchildren, Jamie and Kylie all of Longmont, CO; his sister, Carol Harrison of Hot Springs; nieces Vickie Cazer, Stephanie Merchen, Patti Cobb and Nephew, Logan Harrison and families. His long time companion, Dorene Gentry and her children, Teresa Dike, Michelle Perdue, Mike Gentry and Wendy Gentry and their families.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Leland Harrison.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer with Pastor Bill Savery officiating. Interment will follow at the Custer Cemetery.
