Obituary
Kenneth Earl 'Sonny' Larson, 66, of Hot Springs, SD passed away January 25, 2008 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Sonny was born March 12, 1941 in Rosebud, SD to Floyd and Edith (Longcor) Larson.
and then attended school in Igloo, SD. He served in the National Guard. Sonny was employed at the VA Hospital in Hot Springs, as a truck driver, mechanic, as well as in the steel mills and the railroad.
Sonny was a caring and generous person and had a love of all animals and birds.
Survivors include his brother, Richard 'Dick' Larson of Aurora, CO and life long partner, Emma Shaw of Hot Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Doris.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 28, 2008 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.
