Kerwin 'Pee Wee' Phoenix Douthit, 80, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away March 13, 2020, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Pee Wee was born June 23, 1939, in Vetal, SD, to Frank and Dortha (Peterson) Douthit.

Pee Wee proudly retired from the U.S. Air Force serving from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1982.

Pee Wee is survived by his wife, Sereta of Hot Springs; son, Jack of Hot Springs; daughter, Susan Douthit of Roseburg, OR; brother, Pete (Carolyn) Douthit of Louisiana; half sister, Donna Lamont of Martin, SD; grandchildren, Jake Hupp; John Hupp; Jacklyn Hawkins; Brooke Douthit; Jay Douthit; great grandchildren, Jaxon Hupp; Justice Hupp, Makayla Hawkins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.

Committal services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
