Obituary
Kevin Roger Komes, 54, of Rapid City, SD, and formerly of Edgemont, SD, passed away September 28, 2016, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City.
Kevin was born August 13, 1962, in Hot Springs, SD, to Leonard and Iris (Beehler) Komes.
Kevin is survived by two sons, Kris (Charity) Komes of Rapid City; Jon (Jamie) Komes of Rapid City; two daughters, Samantha Komes of Carthage, TX; Kimberly Komes of Sacramento, CA; sister, Karyn Vandenberg of Kansas; and nine grandchildren.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kelly Komes, and two grandsons.
Wake services will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2016, at St. James Catholic Church in Edgemont, SD.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016, at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Grant Gerlach as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Edgemont Cemetery near Edgemont.
