Laurine Catherine Hartman, age 96, of Ardmore, SD, peacefully passed away on September 2, 2014, with her immediate family by her side at the Highland Park Nursing Home in Alliance, NE.

Laurine was born March 13, 1918, at Montrose, NE. She moved to Ardmore with her family when she was sixteen. There she met and married Patrick Hartman on February 14, 1942. They were married 48 years before Pat's death in 1990. Laurine enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, embroidering and her milk cows.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Gertrude (O'Connell) Wasserburger; husband, Patrick; son-in-law, William Parks; brother, Vincent Wasserburger; sisters, Anna Mumm, Vera Kliest and Letha Collins.

Laurine is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Shari Parks and Cindy and Larry Glasshoff; sons and daughters-in law, Jim and Francie Hartman and Bob and Kathy Hartman; grandchildren and spouses, Chantel and Chad Windeshausen, Amber Glasshoff, Ashley and David Gaskill, Patrick and Margaret Hartman, Beau Hartman; great grandchildren, Ty and Jace Windeshausen and Brooke Hartman; sister, Hazel Anderson; brothers, Dale and Dallas Wasserburger as well as many nieces and nephews.

Wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2014, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs, SD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Fr. Kerry Prendiville officiating.

Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at the Duck Creek Cemetery near Ardmore.
