Leona Josephine Harding, age 83, of Hot Springs, SD passed away May 1, 2008 at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs.

Leona is survived by her husband, Donald of Hot Springs; two sons, Donald R. (Anne) Harding of Colorado Springs, CO; Robert (Carol) Harding of Edgemont, SD; two daughters, Jean (Edwin) Cutler of Hot Springs; Helen (Bob) Hallgren of Lincoln, NE; eleven grandchildren, Paula (George) Wolyniec; David (Angie) Harding; Joanna Harding; Jeff (Rachelle) Hallgren; Chad Hallgren; Jamie (Greg) Eslinger; Jocelyn (Michael) Marshall; Benjamin (Julia) Cutler; Josh Harding; Nathan Harding (Katie Manke and Allie); Katie Harding; seven great-grandchildren; Patrick Wolyniec; Oliver Wolyniec; Camden Harding; Abryana Hallgren; Ashley Eslinger; Elizabeth Marshall and David Marshall; sister, Norma Jean Bennett of Albany, OR; three brothers, Marvin (Donna) Hammer of Hot Springs; Chuck (Cathy) Hammer of Eugene, OR; Jim (Deb) Hammer of Pierre, SD; three sisters-in-law, Mille Hammer of Hot Springs; Dee Hammer of Spearfish, SD and Elma Hammer of Custer, SD.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister, Evelyn; three brothers, Raymond 'Joe'; Martin 'Gene' and Ernest 'Ernie'.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2008 at Assembly of God Church in Hot Springs with Donald R. Harding and Pastor Loyd Nielson officiating.

A memorial has been established in Leona's name to benefit the Assembly of God Church in Edgemont, SD.
