Leslie A Johnson died at his home in Custer County in November 2011.
Les, as he was known by his friends, was born September 24, 1944, in West Grove, PA. Les lived in Custer years ago, then after travelling all over the country, returned to Custer about 12 years ago. He worked as a handyman and could fix just about anything but was known best as a painter. He worked on computers and bought great bargains on the internet.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan Johnston of Sacramento CA and sister, Shirley Koonce of Hot Springs Village, AR.
