Lewis Milton Kester, age 92, formerly of Custer, SD, passed away September 21, 2014, in Kenwood, CA.
Lewis was born in South Dakota on June 12, 1922, to Francis and Ida (Olson) Kester.
Lewis was preceded in death by wife, Evelyn Loraine Kester of 63 years, two sons, Alan Kester and Gary Kester.
Survivors include five children, Carol Jorgensen Hunt; Ron Kester; Linda Kruzic; Darrel Kester; Barbara Cassidy; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Committal services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014, at the Custer Cemetery in Custer, SD, with Minister Marsha Savery officiating.
