Lois Maybelle Rapp, age 94, of Buffalo Gap, SD, passed away on December 24, 2018, at the Seven Sisters Living Center in Hot Springs, SD.

Lois was born on December 7, 1924, to Frank D. and Julia (Callahan) Wilson at their home in Washington (Lakota) County, SD. She married Freeman Rapp on June 14, 1945.

Lois is survived by her children, Lynn (Darrell Campell) Rapp of Buffalo Gap, SD; Deborah (Greg) Wammen of Reva, SD; Julia (Kim) Trevillyan of Buffalo Gap, SD; Frank (Mary) Rapp of Buffalo Gap, SD; sisters, Thomasetta (Bill) Kuhl of Hot Springs, SD; Colleen Suppa of Fargo, ND; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and very special friend, Lori Shorb.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Wake services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs, with vigil services at 7:00 p.m.

Christian Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs with Fr. Grant Gerlach as celebrant.  Christian Funeral Committal services will follow at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery in Buffalo Gap, SD.

A memorial has been established in Lois' name to benefit Grace of the Pines Hospice.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
