Lois Eve Redden, age 66, of Edgemont, SD, passed away January 24, 2018 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Lois was born on December 7, 1951, to Robert and Erma (Waldren) Roller in Hot Springs, SD. She was blessed with five children in her first marriage. On June, 19, 1995, she married the love of her life "her Gary". Lois was employed at "The Complex" for over 20 years and took great pride in her position there.

Lois enjoyed being outdoors, working in her well groomed yard, camping, fishing, boating and riding with Gary on their motorcycle through the Black Hills. Everyone in her neighborhood enjoyed having their hair cut and styled by Lois, but more importantly they enjoyed the conversations shared during that time. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she savored every family gathering. Lois will be remembered for her spunk, her kind heart, her love of laughter and the protection she provided to her loved ones.

Lois is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Cheryl (Joseph) Shook of Edgemont, SD; Diane (Bill Taylor) Hamaker of Rapid City, SD; Grant Hamaker of Edgemont, SD; Jody (James) Tackett of Milford, IA; Donald Hamaker of Buffalo Gap, SD; brother, Richard (Sharon) Roller of Cheyenne, WY; sisters, Barbara Cornette of Alliance, NE; Marcia (Mike) Nuss of Lincoln, NE; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018, at the United Church in Edgemont, SD with Rev. Peary Wilson officiating.
